Unable to open Hyperlinks in outlook express
How do I make hyperlinks in messages work again?
If clicking a hyperlink in Outlook Express appears to do nothing at all, first verify that there is a properly installed default browser. It is recommended that you make Internet Explorer the default browser at least until the problem is resolved.
For Windows XP:
1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Set Program Access and Defaults.
2. Click Custom, and then click on the arrow button to the right of screen to reveal all available Web browser options.
3. Under Choose a default Web browser, click Internet Explorer, and then click OK.
For other Windows versions:
• Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click Custom, and then click on the arrow button to the right of screen to reveal all available Web browser options.
3. Under Choose a default Web browser, click Internet Explorer, and then click OK.
For other Windows versions:
• Double-click the Internet or Internet Options icon, and then click Programs.
• Make sure that the Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default check box is selected, click Apply, and then click OK.
• Open Internet Explorer, and then click Yes when you receive the following prompt:
"Internet Explorer is not currently your default browser. Do you wish to make it the default?"
If hyperlinks are still not working, it's likely one or more registered file associations are configured incorrectly. To repair the associations:
1. Click Start, click My Computer, and then click Folder Options on the Tools menu.
2. Click the File Types tab.
3. Select URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol in the list of registered file types.
4. Click the Advanced button (Windows XP), or the Edit button (other versions).
5. In the list of Actions, select open and then click the Edit button.
6. The Application used to perform action box should contain this, including quotation marks:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome2. Click the File Types tab.
3. Select URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol in the list of registered file types.
4. Click the Advanced button (Windows XP), or the Edit button (other versions).

If instead it contains a short name version of that path, or an incorrect path, change it to the above. Click OK.
7. Repeat steps 3-7 for the file type URL:Hypertext Transfer Protocol with Privacy.
8. Click OK to close the Folder Options window.
Outlook Error :'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8007000E) : 'Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again.'

In Case we get the above mentioned error on outlook while trying to send/receive the following t/s steps will be helpful
1) Open Control Panel and go to folder options. In folder options turn on the SHOW HIDDEN FILES feature on.
2) Open My computer and go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12
3) In this folder look for Scanpst utility
4) Run the Scanpst utility on all PST and OST files
Do take a backup for all PST and OST files before running the utility.

CMD Path to install Mozilla
Please try this and let me know if it works..
If internet explorer is displaying The Page Cannot Be Displayed but is able to ping to the internet, try to download the Mozilla Firefox through FTP.
Firefox
1. Click Start, choose Run, run CMD
2. Enter ftp dahmer.vistech.net
3. Enter the user name: Dell
4. The cursor will not move while you type the password. Enter 254163
5. Enter BIN
6. Enter get internet.exe
7. The file download will start and might take between 50s(cable) to 20min.(dial-up). There will be no progress indicators. When the download will be over Ftp will display the message Transfer Completed.
8. Enter quit or bye to exit the Ftp Application.
9. Enter internet to launch the setup
After installing the Mozilla Firefox, try to browse to the internet and see if it'll open up the webpage. In this way we can tell that it's not a firewall or a proxy issue.

Install the latest Microsoft Security Essentials definition updates

Step 1: Save or run the file.
After you download the latest definition updates , click Run to install the definition file immediately, or click Save to save it to your computer. If you click Save, remember the name of the folder where you saved the file.
Step 2: Install the definition update.
To install the saved definition update file:
· If your computer is running Windows Vista or Windows 7, click Start, click Documents, and then locate the folder where you saved the definition file. Right-click Mpam-fe.exe, click Run as administrator, and then click Run. When you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation, and then wait while the definition files are installed.
· If your computer is running any other Windows operating system, you must be logged on as an administrator to install the latest definition file. Browse to the folder where you saved the file, and then double-click Mpam-fe.exe to install the latest definition file.
Also it Fixes any issues regarding the updates for Microsoft Security Essentials.
